Warranty Terms
This warranty is non-transferable and applies solely to the original owner. maXtek agrees to repair or replace any confirmed warranty product at no cost. However, maXtek is not responsible for any charges related to the removal or reinstallation of replacement or repaired parts, including haul-out, labor, or any miscellaneous fees.
maXtek agrees to replace eligible warranty products free of charge on the distributor’s next restocking order after confirming warranty eligibility.
International distributors are responsible for obtaining the Bill of Sale from their customers, verifying that the part was purchased within the warranty period, and inspecting and testing the allegedly defective part to confirm warranty eligibility. Images may be used in place of parts being returned to distributors, provided they have been approved by maXtek.
International warranty claims will be processed as follows:
• Distributor maXtek receives a product warranty claim from customer.
• Distributor confirms warranty eligibility by obtaining the Bill of Sale and ensuring it matches the date code on the specific product.
• Distributor provides images of the warranty product and Bill of Sale to maXtek
• maXtek advises on warranty eligibility based on images provided.
When placing a restocking order, the distributor should include any eligible warranty claims that have been completed. MaXtek will match the distributor's past eligible warranty claims to the requested warranty products for accuracy.
Please note that returned warranty parts cannot be stockpiled. Warranty claims must be processed promptly at the time of product failure.
In most cases, MaXtek does not require parts to be returned to the factory. However, there may be instances where MaXtek requests the return of specific warranty parts for detailed inspection. MaXtek will cover return freight charges for warrantied parts. If returned parts are determined to be ineligible for warranty coverage, the distributor will be responsible for purchasing those parts and covering any associated freight charges. This includes products that have been modified by the customer.
Additionally, distributors are expected to provide warranty service to MaXtek customers, even if the customer did not purchase the part directly from them.
Please use our return merchandise authorisation fom for all returns and warranty claims. Thank you.
